Get Over Yourself, You are Emotionally Weak but you can Get Over Yourself

What is it about humans anyway?  We are the only species ever created that never live up to our potential.  We just need to say, “get over yourself” and do what you need to do to have the life the Lord meant for us. 

Here’s the deal, whenever we start to change our brains will sabotage us emotionally.  Our brains try to protect us from change.  It’s just the way we are.  It makes us emotionally weak.  All of us are emotionally weak.  We are programed to be that way. 

We are the only created species that doesn’t make the most of our existence.  A tree will try to grow as tall as it can get.  Squirrels will gather as many nuts as they can get.  Bears will eat as much as they can get in order to get fat before they hibernate.  All species will try to be the best that they can be except humans.

We always try and come up with some excuse not to do the best we can.  It is just what we do.  Get over yourself.  How do you do that?  You do it by changing the emotions that are inside you.  Get angry.  Don’t be denied.  If you need to lose weight, get angry.  If you are broke, get angry, or if you have relationship issues, get angry.  This emotion will help you get through the tough times and get you moving on a path to success.

Most people in America don’t have to be desperate. When everything is running along like it is supposed to we just stay in the same place.  We have all kinds of ways to stay away from disparate situations because the government will always bail us out.  But desperation is always the best way to make sure you succeed.  Get over yourself when you are desperate and make a plan to get out of the situation you are in. 

So don’t let your emotions get in the way, get over yourself, get angry and do what you need to do to be successful.  Stop letting yourself down, your family down, and your creator down.  It’s time to do great things with your life.
