Get Over Yourself, Make Small Changes to Make Big Changes and Get Over Yourself

It’s the first part of January.  Every one has made New Year’s resolutions that will probably go down the tubes soon because we just don’t want to make the changes necessary in order to make it happen.

That’s the problem, so get over yourself, things aren’t as bad as you think.  In order to make big changes you are going to have to make small ones along the way.  Say you want to come home earlier in order to be with your family for dinner.  The best way to do that is to make small changes in other areas.  Say, not scheduling any meetings after 3:00 in the afternoon, or getting people out of your office so you can get home earlier. 

The other thing that you can do is not makes stops on the way home, but do them at other times, perhaps in the morning.  If you want to lose weight, you should probably start by getting the bad food out of the house or taking a walk every day.  It’s much more simple to make the big changes if you make small ones and step into it slower. 

My idea is to be a six-figure earner by the end of the year.  It is going to be difficult, but I must make small changes in order for that to happen.  Things like watching less TV and paying more attention to my work.  It’s easier when you do it that way.  I am going to concentrate on building a system that will work for me to take my business to the next level and help other people take their businesses to the next level. 

I have a lot of things that I have learned over the years.  I have spent over $50,000 and five years on programs and systems to get over myself and get out of my head and into my heart.  It’s been difficult and I’m not sure if I have succeeded yet.  I’m still a work in progress, but I tell my self every day “get over yourself” and do what the Lord wants me to do.
