Reality TV has a huge audience these days. The appeal of watching
life as it really is has captured the attention of millions. Since
Hollywood has done away with residual income for actors, writers, and
producers the lure of a large lump sum paid to a non professional
character has overtaken the industry. The perception of reality TV is
that we get a “behind the scenes” unscripted view of what really happens
to ordinary people.
Since there is no reality show
depicting a home based business many people have misconceived ideas of
what really happens. Like most reality shows, there is a lot of
repetitive and mundane tasks that make it to the editing floor with a
few exciting moments that make it all worth while.
If
cameras where to following me around in our home based business the show
might open with a dim light glowing from the computer room at 6:00 Am.
The scene would show me on the internet catching up on the news, reading
emails, and viewing several of my social media accounts. During these
first two hours I would also be videoed watching personal improvement
post on Darren Daily, A Minute with Maxwell, and Our Daily Bread.
Before going to breakfast I would review the schedule for the day and
get mentally ready for writing articles, making phone calls, and
creating my own training videos.
The next scene would be
panning out to view me, escorted by three rescue dogs, walking into the
kitchen to feed them and prepare my breakfast. By then my husband would
be up and we would begin a lively conversation about what the day had in
store. Once breakfast was ready we would sit at the dining table and
continue or conclude our discussion. On the table would be seen a Bible
and one other book and for the next half hour we would read from a
personal improvement book then a passage from the Bible. We’d conclude
our “dining room” experience with talk about how we intend to apply what
we have read.
The rest of the day would be the
repetitious tasks of phone calling team members, emailing prospects, and
following up on scheduled events. I would be seen taking periodic
breaks between activities, dealing with unexpected interruptions, and
giving my adorable dogs attention when they nosed my arms while at the
computer. Tasks such as uploading and publishing articles, videoing and
editing training sessions, as well as posting those videos would
complete the day.
The schedule I
keep is not glamorous or entertaining. It is a glimpse into my home
based business life. Visit www.incredibletransformation.com and

have a successful home based business. Your success, whatever the dream,
involves individual personal positive input and that is what I provide.
