Get Over Yourself! Admit it, You’re a Mess, you Need to Get Over Yourself!

How many times have you heard self-improvement guru’s tell you that you have greatness inside of you?  I am sure that you have heard it, you take it to heart, you go out and try to do something great, and then it never works out.  That’s because you have to get over yourself first.

It is true that all of us have greatness inside of us, God hardwired us that way.  We always want to do better, have more, and most of us wish to help humanity in some way.  I believe that people who are greedy have skewed since of greatness.  They think that their greatness revolves around self.  How much they can get for themselves.  They believe they deserve it all and they won’t stop until they have it all.

The majority of us, however, don’t think that way.  We really want to help others and make a contribution, but we are barely keeping ourselves together.   You need to get over yourself first.

What do you mean by get over yourself?  I mean that we all have beliefs inside our heads that keep us from doing great things.  Perhaps it comes from our childhood.  I was told when I was growing up that I was not good enough.  Everything I did or even attempted to do was met with my dad saying, “You didn’t do that right.”  He was a very abusive man and I believe he was that way because he was very insecure about himself.

My dad was a child of the depression.  He was the oldest of 11 and 16 years old in 1929 when the depression hit.  He didn’t get to finish high school.  His parents told him that they could no longer take care of him and he would have to leave home.  My dad was forced at 17 to fend for himself with absolutely nothing at this very young age.  He made it though life by going from place to place as a ranch hand.  I am sure there were many nights of hunger and thoughts of doubt running through his mind.  This set him up for a life of insecurity and doubt about himself that he passed along to me.

I spent many years with thoughts of insecurity and doubt.  I finally told myself “get over yourself!”  You are destined for greatness.  I found out that the answer was outside myself not searching inside myself.  First, I had to look to my creator for help.  I had to ask him exactly what He created me to do.  Second, I had to purposefully do things, and read books on self-confidence, positivity, and leadership.

If you need to get over yourself, let me help you.  Do you have something nagging at you telling you that you are NOT fulfilling the purpose you we put on Earth? I want to talk with you.  I want to help 10 people fulfill their purpose in 2016.  You must go through a qualification process. If you want to see if you qualify go here and sign up.  I want to connect with you about your dreams and see if you are one of those who I will work with to take your life to its purpose.
