It’s Time to Fulfill Your Purpose in Life!

When is the best time to fulfill your purpose in life?  How about right now!  We are all given one thing when we are born on planet earth and that is time.   We can always make more money but we can’t make more time.  We have a finite amount of it and we never know when our time will run out.  If you know you have a destiny and a purpose for being here then now is the time to start.  Start now, run hard and run fast before time runs out.

Most of you know who Michael Landon is from such shows as “Little House on the Prairie” and “Bonanza.”  He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  He knew he only had a finite amount of time left on earth.  He said that he wished someone had told him he was going to die when he was born so he could have lived his life more fully. 

The Bible says in 1 John 3:18, “My children, our love should not be just words and talk: it must be true love which shows itself in action.”  We must take action in love to fulfill our purpose.  What are some of the things we can do to start fulfilling our purpose?

1. 1. Give of yourself.   The greatest gift that you can give someone is your time.  If you have a God given purpose I’m sure that is has something to do with serving people.  The essence of loving is how much we give of ourselves.  Spend time with people and find out how you can serve them.  This will eventually lead to fulfillment of your purpose.
2. 2. Be fully focused.  If you have a gift and purpose you MUST be fully focused on your purpose.  What do they say when you are building a business.  You must but in focused massive action in order to have a big business.  In order to fulfill your purpose you must also take focused massive action toward helping people and building a relationship with others.
3. 3. The best time to start is now.  We aren’t getting any younger.  Time goes by so quickly.  I am a grandmother and I will be 60 years old very soon.  The days have gone by so quickly.  I am going to spend my 60’s fulfilling my purpose and doing the thing the Lord put me here to do.  I may not have that much time left on this earth to do it.

Time is a very precious gift and how we spend it is important.  We should be living every day as if it were our last day on earth.  If we would remember that we would live our lives more fully every day.
