Network Marketing, The Seven Deadly Sins of Network Marketing

So you just joined a Network Marketing company.  Now you want to be successful.  There are certain things that you can do to be successful, but what can you do to totally kill your chances at becoming a success in Network Marketing.  According to Eric Worre, a very successful network marketer, here are the 7 deadly sins in Network Marketing.

1.    Over-inflating your product or your opportunity.  The truth is enough.  Maybe you believe that your product is the very best and you start embellishing the results of you product.  You start telling others that it will cure all diseases when that isn’t true.  Also, you over-inflate the results you have had with the compensation.   Just be truthful, that’s enough
2.    Inconsistency.  You can’t run hot and cold.  You have to be consistent in your efforts and then you will fail.  Not only that any team you build will not follow you if you are inconsistent.
3.    Negativity.  Have you ever been around anyone that is negative all the time?  Do you like it?  That’s what it feels like when you start talking negatively about your upline, your company or the Network Marketing industry as a whole.  You need a positive attitude because a negative attitude will crush your organization al together.
4.    Being unstable.  The “idea of the week.”  You need to be stable in your organization.  Don’t tell your organization one week that you are going to do one thing and then do something different the next.  The people in your organization will not follow you after awhile.  They will just give up.
5.    Sleeping around.  Why you do outside of you organization is one thing, but what you do inside your organization can kill it.  If you are married you need to stay faithful to that person.  If you aren’t don’t start sleeping with everyone of the opposite sex that’s in your organization.  Your reputation or lack of it will kill your organization.
6.    Stealing distributors.  Whether with good or bad intentions if your know someone who is happy in their organization, don’t steel them and bring them to your organization.  It just isn’t professional.  You’re a peer, not a predator.
7.    Bouncing from company to company.  Decide to sink your roots deep.  There are times when you need to make a move, but if you are with a great company, just stay with it and build your reputation in that company.  Don’t be the person that changes every couple of year.

Mistakes are inevitable, you will always make mistakes, but you need to stay away from these seven deadly mistakes that will kill your Network Marketing company.  Stick with it, be consistent and you will be successful in your company.

Passive Income Can Be Difficult, How to Make the Most of your Mistakes When Starting a Passive Income Business

When you start any venture it can be difficult, especially when it comes to starting a business where you get passive income.  Passive income is the best kind of income to make but it is difficult at best to achieve.  There is a high failure rate when it comes to making passive income.  Could it be because if the way people handle their failure.  Failure is actually good for success, but we have to be able the handle it and learn from it.

We must examine our failures with an eye toward future success.  Reflective thinking is a way that we can reflect on our failures and push ourselves forward.  We can always get better, and reflective thinking is a way to do that.

Here are five steps to a reflective thinking technique that I found by John Maxwell.

1.    Review, Look back at the events of your past.  Set aside time when you have failed to review what happened.  What caused you to fail and how did you learn from that mistake.

2.    Reflect, Have a place where you can think about what worked and what didn’t.  Examine it in more detail.  What plans worked?  What decision yielded good results?  What decision ended up being wrong?  If I were to approach the situation again, how would I do it differently?

3.    Recover, When things don’t turn out as planned you need time to recover.  Everyone makes mistakes.  Letting yourself feel bad for a short time can motivate you to fix what needs to be fixed.  Don’t stay there though you have to move on.

4.     Rearrange, Get clarity about your priorities.  Now that you have failed, decide which way you should go and start down a new track.

5.    Recharge, Dwelling on the past with an eye toward the future allows you to rebound.  It often reveals the humor in a situation.  Go ahead a laugh at yourself.  Get going again and work toward avoiding previous mistakes.

Reflection can be a time of excitement and creativity.   It’s a chance to brainstorm about the future and what it could be like.  It inspires you t continue improving.  It keeps you progressing as an individual and as a leader.  So reflect on your mistakes just long enough to shape your future in positive ways.  You can become successful in your passive income venture if you just never give up.

Mental Blocks, Do You Recognize These 10 Mental Blocks to Creative Thinking?

Creative thinking is necessary in many cases.  Whether your trying to solve a tough problem, start a business, or write an article creative thinking is critical.  People need to “think outside the box” when it comes to creative thinking.  We are such creatures of habit.  We don’t like to think differently than others because we don’t want to be thought of as strange or different.  But it’s those strange and different people that make a difference in this world.

Here is a list of 10 metal blocks that will keep you from being creative.

1.    Trying to Find the “right” answer. One of the worst aspects of formal education is we have been taught to find the right answer.  In real life there may be more than one right answer.  Many of us form mental blocks when looking for the right answer when more than one answer is available.

2.    Logical Thinking.  Not only is there more than one right answer, life can be very illogical.  If you are a logical thinker it is a mental block to your creativity.  Think in metaphors and it will help you communicate the illogical things of life.

3.    Following Rules.  Rules are very important at times, but they can also be a destructive force and a mental block to creativity.  People don’t like to think outside the rules.  Many celebrate the rebels of life but few are brave enough to emulate them.

4.    Being Practical.  I am a very practical person.  I will not do something if it doesn’t have a practical use.  This is good sometimes but it can also be a mental block to creativity.  Try to approach a problem with “what if” and go out and do the crazy thing instead of being so practical.

5.    Play is not work.  Allowing your mind to be at play is perhaps the most effective way to stimulate creative thinking.  Most people, however, disassociate play from work.  You’ve heard the expression “work hard and play hard.”  All you have to do as a creative thinker is realize they are the same thing.

6.    That’s no my job.  We live in a very specialized world it is so easy for us to think, “that’s not my job.”  When you are in business for yourself and getting those creative juices flowing everything is your job.

7.    Being a “serious” person.  I am a very serious person.  Sometimes it is a mental block for me.  I get too serious and I’m not able to think.  If you have to take on the persona of a fool to be creative, then do it.

8.    Avoid Ambiguity.  We are all ambiguous to some degree.  However, we want to divide complex situation into black and white boxes.  This can lead to disaster.  It’s an innate characteristic of the human psychology to desire certainty, but it’s the creative thinker who rejects the false comfort of clarity when it’s not really appropriate.

9.    Being wrong is bad.  Because of the way we are taught in school, we hate being wrong.  Thomas Edison was wrong 1,800 times before getting the light bulb right.  The best thing we can do is learn from our mistakes.  But we let being wrong become a mental block and we don’t learn from the mistakes we make.  Ask yourself, what can happen if I’m wrong?  Not much.  But great things can happen if you dare to be wrong and learn from your mistakes.

10. I’m not creative.  You are denying that you are human if you deny that you are creative.  We’re all limitlessly creative, but only to the extent that we realize it.  Stop telling yourself that you aren’t creative.  It’s a lie.

Of you want to have success in your life you need to overcome the mental blocks that keep you from that success.  Being a creative thinker is one sure way to success.

In order to become a success you need to get over the mindset that is blocking your potential.
